Originally from Orlando, Florida, Nadia has lived in Kuwait since 2016 with her family. She values the importance of family and community, which remain central to both her personal and professional life.

Dedicated to continuous learning, she is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from American College of Education to further enhance her skills in school administration. In her free time, she enjoys the arts, spending time with family and friends, and exploring Kuwait’s rich cultural landscape.

Shaimaa Tolba joined KBS2 in 2007 and has been a dedicated member of the school community ever since. She is a graduate of the English Department, Faculty of Arts, with a focused major in Language and Translation from Alexandria University, Egypt. She holds a master’s degree in Educational Leadership and is currently pursuing another master’s in Curriculum and Instruction. As the Elementary Principal for the past four years, she has led with a bilingual and student-centered approach, ensuring that every child receives the support they need to thrive academically and personally. With a strong belief in the potential of every child, she is committed to fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Beyond her professional role, Ms. Shaimaa is a loving mother of four and a dedicated wife, balancing her passion for education with her deep commitment to family.

Desiree Pacifico joined Kuwait Bilingual School 2 in August 2011 and has been a dedicated educator committed to fostering a dynamic and supportive learning environment. With a passion for student-centered education, she strives to inspire curiosity, independence, and personal growth, ensuring that every scholar reaches their full potential.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education, Major in English, from Cebu State University and is currently pursuing Master’s degrees in Teaching English and Special Education from Saint Mary’s University in the Philippines. Her expertise in differentiated instruction and innovative teaching strategies allows her to support diverse learning needs effectively.

Beyond the classroom, Ms. Desiree is passionate about travel and cultural exploration. Through her YouTube channel, she shares her experiences, inspiring others to embrace new adventures. She believes that “Life is full of stories waiting to be discovered,” a philosophy that drives both her teaching and personal journey.

Dr. Kalvin joined Kuwait Bilingual School in 2015. He is committed to shaping KBS High School scholars both academically and in character. His guiding principle, “We come with respect, deal with respect, and leave with respect,” underscores his dedication to fostering a culture of respect and developing future global leaders.

A bilingual educational leader, Dr. Kalvin holds a Doctor of Education from Bridges Graduate School of Education in California, a Master of Science from the State University of New York, and a Bachelor’s degree from Yarmouk University in Jordan.

Beyond his professional role, Dr. Kalvin is a proud father of four, two of whom attend KBS2. He is a passionate foodie and a dedicated educator who finds joy in supporting, guiding, and uplifting the KBS community.

Nadia Prashad joined Kuwait Bilingual School in 2017 as a Language and Literature instructor. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) and Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto, and a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Calgary in Canada. Mrs. Nadia also earned the IB International Educator Certificate in Teaching and Learning, cementing her commitment to shaping young minds through dynamic and thoughtful pedagogy.

In her current role as MYP Coordinator, Mrs. Nadia aims to encourage educators to weave their personal and practical knowledge into the rich fabric of KBS 2. Her leadership in this role ensures that our collaborative approach to teaching and learning equips students with empathy and critical thinking skills needed to thrive in an ever-evolving global landscape.

Beyond her professional life, Mrs. Nadia values quality time with her family, diving into books, and exploring new destinations with her better half. She finds that her travels and reading experiences deepen her understanding of diverse perspectives, ultimately enhancing her approach to teaching and leadership.

Fatima Al-Raei joined Kuwait Bilingual School 2 in 2013 and currently serves as the Head of the Guidance and Educational Counseling Department. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Guidance and Mental Health from the University of Jordan, graduating in 2012, as well as a Higher Diploma in Learning Difficulties, ADHD, and Behavior Modification from the American University in Kuwait. Fatima has also obtained numerous professional certifications in counseling skills, drug prevention, and child protection from reputable international organizations in Germany, the Netherlands, and Kuwait, in collaboration with CIS. Additionally, she has participated in conferences related to mental health, educational counseling, and skill development across Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, and other countries, reflecting her continuous commitment to professional growth and fostering a supportive school environment.

Fatima believes that education goes beyond academics; it is a holistic process that shapes students’ character and emotional well-being. In her leadership role, she strives to create a safe and supportive environment where students can develop essential life skills and confidently navigate challenges. She adopts a compassionate and comprehensive approach that combines emotional support with behavioral counseling, emphasizing trust and mutual respect. Fatima also focuses on designing preventive programs that promote mental well-being and positive behavior within the school community, ensuring an inclusive and nurturing educational atmosphere.

Beyond her professional responsibilities, Fatima is passionate about researching the latest studies in educational psychology, personal development, and modern parenting techniques. She sees educational counseling not just as a profession but as a meaningful mission to empower individuals, nurture a responsible and self-aware generation, and instill strong values in students. She is honored to be part of the KBS 2 team, where she works to create an inspiring school environment that helps shape future leaders with a positive mindset and a balanced perspective on life.

Elmedina Sadikovic joined Kuwait Bilingual School 2 in 2019 and currently serves as the Creativity, Activity, and Service Coordinator. Passionate about holistic education, she is dedicated to guiding scholars in personal growth, creativity, and global citizenship through meaningful action and service.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Sport from the University of Tuzla and has earned multiple professional certifications, including IB MYP Approaches to Learning and IB DP Creativity, Activity, and Service.

Her educational philosophy centers on empowering students to lead, learn, and make a difference through curiosity, creativity, and character. A proud mother, she enjoys exploring different cuisines, staying active, and engaging in community service, fostering a culture of lifelong learning and impact at KBS 2.

Mr. Tamer Ezzeldin joined Kuwait Bilingual School 2 in 2019 and has been a key member of the science department, committed to making chemistry engaging and meaningful for scholars. With over 12 years of experience in international education, he integrates technology and real-world applications to foster inquiry-based learning and critical thinking.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Ain Shams University, Egypt, and is a certified IB educator, actively involved in both the MYP and DP programs. In addition to teaching chemistry, he serves as the Theory of Knowledge (TOK) Coordinator, guiding scholars in developing interdisciplinary connections and analytical skills.

Passionate about lifelong learning, Mr. Tamer believes education should inspire curiosity and problem-solving. An avid traveler, he brings global perspectives into his teaching, fostering a classroom environment that encourages exploration and intellectual growth.

Samah Mahdy joined Kuwait Bilingual School in 2015 and is dedicated to fostering scholars’ skills in technology, innovation, and self-directed learning. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering/Computing from Suez Canal University in Egypt and has earned multiple international certifications in IB education, child protection, and technology.

At KBS, she serves as the IB MYP Personal Project Coordinator, IB DP EE Coordinator, High School IT Teacher, and IB MYP Design Teacher, while also supporting the Innovation Centre. Her leadership in these roles ensures that scholars develop critical thinking, creativity, and digital fluency in an evolving technological landscape.

A proud mother of three KBS scholars, she is passionate about technology, child mental health, and well-being, and enjoys reading across various scientific fields. Committed to creating a dynamic and nurturing learning environment, she strives to inspire and empower scholars to achieve excellence.
